Looks shiny, and look like it went on good. Yes they are fragile , did you get Phoenix? Personally I think they suck. The ink is micro thin and one slight scratch and you are into the white vinyl. I think color should all the way through. Try a black maker , it works okay, then rub of excess with finger lightly.
Thanks, it is coming along. I had planned on doing the rims black but the blue might be a better choice. I think my kid suggested that as well. I might just go that way... And yes to your other question, Phoenix. Good suggestion on the marker touch up, will give it a try.
Looking back through this thread makes me realize how many mistakes I made along the way. I’m getting closer but still lots of little things to do. I’ll get there and in the end I will be happy! Would I do it again? Probably Would I prepare differently? Definitely
I wouldn’t say mistakes, I’d say things you see where you can do better with experience you gained . Car looks great
You’d think a couple screws and mirrors are on. Not when Dave does it. Can’t find screws, improvise. Order glass because somehow you broke the drivers side while storing it and well, you can’t have new on one side and old on the other. Realize after you now broke the passenger side that they are relatively hard to find. Put them together anyways and the take them all apart and repaint inside of mirrors when you realize you can see past the glass. 3 hours later...
