Ahhhh....good eye. That was a bummer when we went to shut the hood.



we also had to get a bracket to mount the proportioning brackets on the passenger side of the m/c.

Confirming this is the ticket if you’re using a smaller booster. Worked perfect on my dual diaphragm booster. Thanks again

Zspoiler2...that is what we did... cut the hood, 1-3/4" drop b it lookase, 2-5/16" air filter with a flat top lid could use either the factory air filter or a K &N replacement. The article said. I used an use a Nova lace assembly. I used o hood seal from a 1969 Z-28/1970 Chevelle SS ,The under hood brace from a 1980-1 Z-28 .cut a half moon shape in the stock 1979 Z-28 hood . And that way it looks like the way should of done it. I trying to find my album from when I moved .It has a picture of it.

Yes!!! Car is 99% back together. Had problems with the clear on the front fenders blushing twice. Have to get the stripes on it, not sure when we are doing that

Looks great. There is one that’s been running around here similar to your, but has a black hood. Not sure why he didn’t paint it too.
