Shell rotella t 15w40 is what i run in my 412. Its fine in colder weather, and has higher zinc than alot of oils. Just let it run for a few minutes before driving it.
Not to be an ass but the $7,000 for a used 350 and an install should be the first red flag. Did he change the cam? If not very doubtful that he wiped a lobe unless he cranked the valves way too tight, but by the sound of things i wouldn't think he would touch the valves if he didn't have too.
I painted the ac delete panel, got everything jammed out, engine and tranny set in and trying to make these tiwanese fenders work. Its not gonna be great but it will work.
Im a fan of big cube small blocks, lots of torque, plenty if ripem's. Ive been looking at tubular upper and lowers but i don't want to spend 800 dollars on them. Ill be buying wilwood drag race brakes for the front next.
Haha I heard that, my car has no creature comforts, manual brakes, manual steering, no radio, 3800 stall and way to much duration for the street, but the 406 should run real nice lol.
Ive been hitting this site pretty hard since september when i bought the car from my buddy, we started on it back on 2013 and he never finished it and i just figured it was time lol. I really like checking everyones projects out, restorations and customs, ill put some more pictures up in a day...
I was going to change the rear quarters so I had the small window but I think I like the idea of just having the tail panel and the rubber nose in the front.
