    I saw that episode. They also showed the front end conversion in a really detailed way. The only tough part about the conversion is the $$$. Still not sure you would come out ahead over just buying an early 2nd gen, although they are getting harder to find.

    That's what it seems to be. I will keep studying the grounds and see if I can trace it down. There must be one under the dash as well. I also noticed that my parking lights come on when the brake pedal is depressed so maybe that has something to do with it

    Okay so I rewired that side marker light but it didn't fix the problem. I cleaned the grounds in the front. The best I can get out of the wiring diagram is that the turn signal shares a ground with the corresponding head light. So I found that ground and gave it the brush. Still a dim running...

    So up by the front turn signal I noticed that the black wire (assuming ground) running to the side marker light was completely sheared. Soldering gun is heating up right now. Will let you know if this helps my problem
