I was perusing FB Marketplace and the story is that this intake was on a 454 in a truck the seller bought. I know that this intake is reproduced...it is probably not OEM, but I got it cheap and it will fit under a flat Camaro hood on a Big Block.
Nice score, I can't tell you how many of those low intakes I sold in the 70's for $50 as no one wanted them. Everyone said that intake killed 50hp over the hi-rise oneI was perusing FB Marketplace and the story is that this intake was on a 454 in a truck the seller bought. I am curious if that "50hp" was dyno horsepower or "seat of the pants" horsepower.Nice score, I can't tell you how many of those low intakes I sold in the 70's for $50 as no one wanted them. Everyone said that intake killed 50hp over the hi-rise one![]()
Well that has to be the butt dyno, the good dynos don't wear pantsI am curious if that "50hp" was dyno horsepower or "seat of the pants" horsepower.
SCORE!!!!!Went to look at a low mile 2014 Cummins Ram 2500 and came home with this (it wasn't really a spur of the moment purchase, I have been looking for one). 1 year old 22 foot aluminum tilt trailer with spare tire and winch mount made to work with trailer tilted. Price was less than half of new one.
