I haven’t had time to get the receipts cataloged so I don’t have the timelines. And actual installation dates will usually be close to part purchase dates but not necessarily. Still trying to figure out how to price the car. I’ve looked on this page but only get confused. I know it’s not a $40k show car, but it’s not a basket case either. It drives ok but has big ticket things on the horizon like a rear end rework. It has odd add ons that will probably not be of interest to many people. I’m afraid I’m going to tally up all the $ on these receipts and decide I may as well keep it. Just riding it around made me realize how much I like the car. But the realities of life will not let me keep it up properly. I’m figuring in the upper teens (somewhere north of 15 but likely south of 20) but nothing is set in my mind yet. If people tell me I’m dreaming it’ll just tuck back in the garage I guess

Battery was stone dead again this morning so i decided it was time to replace it. I’ve had an optima in it for years but it never fit and has always been jerry rigged. It took half a day to replace the battery. I bought one that was supposed to be a direct replacement. I have an oem battery tray and bracket and the bracket was ~ 0.625 above the tab on the battery the bracket was supposed to bear against to hold the battery in the tray. Best thing a was able to come up with is to clamp a piece of oak trim in to fill the gap. Jerry rigged again. Then the new battery didn’t have top posts so i had to replace the cables. The positive cable took forever to get fished through the k member and attached to the starter. Finally got it fired up and outside to wash grime off to take some pics.
what's the trim tag show for body and interior color?

There is only a vin plate on the dash in front of the driver, but it has only 13 characters, and vin search apps say i need 17 characters, but i think 17 characters is a post 1981 thing. Checked the title and it has the same vin on it. I doesn't really matter as this car is a complete Frankenstein. It was an automatic car and the previous owner hacked a hole in the tunnel and installed an M20. i installed a shifter hump with the inner and outer boots so water no longer comes in when driving in the wet. the floor pans were replaced by me because the previous owner hacked the hole for the m20 and driving in the wet soaked the carpets which rotted out the original floor, but i didn't find that until i replaced the carpet. The interior is an aftermarket center console that was in it when i bought it (dark blue) which i have vinyl dyed bright blue. The back seat plates, side panels, and sail panels are cream colored junk yard finds. Those have been vinyl dyed white. The seats are recovered in white vinyl part of an NPD interior kit. I installed new seat buns when I recovered the seats but that was 25years ago or more. That kit is where the blue carpet and headliner came from as well. The front seat belts are original, but I didn't reinstall the shoulder belts when I replaced the headliner. The rear belts are aftermarket. I believe I have the original belts on my parts on the shelves. I would have to look, but they are white. My wife many years ago bought me the blue carpet floor mats with the white script camaro on them. The white door panels are aftermarket 78 door panels. I have the original 3 piece 73 door panels but they are in rough shape. They are a dingy white/cream. Never have found door handle cups, but I stopped looking ~20years ago.

Best I can do would be to put it on jack stands and try. I will try to get to that this weekend. Actually there is the local garage I have take care of things for us. I could ask them if I could put the car on their lift, but that will take a while to get to.
