Does anyone have two Camaro transverse muffler exhaust insulators for my 74 Z28 like in the photo?
GM part number 340364

Thanks Bobs RPOZ/28. I have those exhaust hanger sets and will be able to use part of it., but part of the tailpipe hanger was mounted different on the 74 Z28 to the frame area than the 70-73 Camaros. Please checkout photos from Charlie's low miles 74 Z28 that he does not own now to see what I am referring about.

Thanks for the photos George. Haven’t looked at mine for sometime. Was the Z different in ‘74 compared to the other Camaros (or Pontiac's)? They all had a cross flow muffler.

Bob, Yes, I think the 74 Z28 mounting area to the frame used different brackets and insulators, but I am not sure about the Firebird. A member on the board may have a very nice pair of used insulators and he will let me know tomorrow.

Jack Seymour is the person who reproduces the 70-73 Hangars/Rubbers and may sell the Rubbers
individually ??? Dont know if 74 Rubber is same as 70-73
Chuck, I think the 70-73 insulators are close to being the same. I located a used pair from Rick here on the board and he has mailed them to me. I have Jack Seymours 70-73 hangers and will used parts from it when installing my transverse muffler system. The 70-73 hanger bracket is different than the 74 Z28 that attaches to the frame. Thanks for your post. George
