There was supposidly a couple of 66 Camaros built. Can't remember if it was true or what they looked like. Something about tail lights and back up lights.

Q: When were the first-generation models built?

A: First generation Camaros were built from the 1967 model year (starting with August 1966 production for September 1966 model launch) through the 1969 model year. Note that the 1969 model year was an unusual one for Camaro, since it extended through December 1969, well beyond the conventional end of model year, due to production difficulties with the redesigned 1970 models. </font>

It's funny that you bring this up now. I was watching Pimp my Ride the other night and they were doing some panel wagon for a girl. She was talking about all of the stuff that was jacked up on the vehicle and she said that something on her ride was off of a 65 camaro. The word Dumba-- instantly popped into my head.

Once I was watching one those shows where some rapper was showing off his rides and he's standing in front of a '60 Cadillac and he's telling the host "this is my '59 Caddy"....I cringe when I hear stuff like that....people with so much money they don't even know what they own.
