Switched mine over to full synthetic a couple of years ago with no issues. Benifit is a longer oil change interval and probably a better additive package. Mine's an original 307 with about 115,000 miles now driven about 500 miles per year.
Thx, my 307 is going to turn 100K this week. I suspect I put on a couple thousand on a year and seems to run like a champ. I change the oil/filter every late spring before I tuck it away, so I'm now thinking of staying with conventional, assuming the conventional is a much better quality than it was 53 years ago.
