It is now running great. I will be including a Herb Adams sway bar for the front, and a set of bolt in sub frame connectors(the car already has new body mount bushings). It starts up at the tap of the key. I need to put the interior back together, and it will have a newer rug out of one of my other cars in it. This car is a good project for somebody looking for a car that they can drive while doing the bodywork on and making nice. It has some home done patches on the floors and rear rails, all are welded in. It has a fair amount of plastic on it,the fenders look o.k. with some patches that arent even filled over yet. The doors look decent. It looks like it could use 1/4 skins the rest of the body is pretty good. Its a black interior, but some of the parts were dyed black.
The engine is a HO 305 from the early 80's with a lot of mild performance work done. Its probably close to 300 hp. It was a low miles complete engine when installed. I took the heads of,had them rebuilt with a 3 angle valve job back cut valves(not the home done ones in the tread),I bowl blended them, added new Z/28 springs and retainers. It has a mild speed pro cam,.420/.442 lift 204/214 duration, new lifters(of course) and double roller chain. A performer intake and brand new 600 Edelbrock carb with electric choke. It has a new Interstate battery, with new tray and hold down, new cables, new power lead tothe fuse box with 80 amp circuit breaker instead of the fuseable link wire mess that used to go to the starter. The headers are new,the exhaust is 2" duals with turbo mufflers and is quiet with a deep rumble.
I have nevwer driven the car,but it stops and steers fine in my driveway, and can be test driven before you buy it. The tires have no miles on them, all the engine work has no miles either. I dont think it has a posi rear.
$2000 OBO.
