Here's a tip...Need to tell if your alternator is a dead player?..
Take an ordinary screwdriver or anything else of ferrous steel, and hold the tip to the "frost plug" bearing cap on the back of the alternator with the engine running. Try to pull it away. Feel a strong magnetic pull? alt is o.k. No pull? no worky.
