From Greg Weld, racelite series 92. They seem to be well priced.
I think summit even stocks them. I would like to see them on a Z
www.gregweld.com

Or

Does anyone know about the Jegs sportstars (weld prostar look a likes)

Long story short, I bought a set of Weld prostars from my work a couple years ago. Well since
that time my work went out of business. I finally got my motor running a few weeks ago and was going thru the gears, checking my transmission out, and noticed both my wheels are bent. I can't return them now, so i have to get new back wheels. I don't want to pay the high price for the weld prostars if i don't have too. So how close are the Jegs wheels to the Prostars? Can i use the weld centers? Any info would be great....

Not bad at all....They appear to have a smooth lip. I am thinking about powder coating mine a dark titanium if i get them.

Do you know if they will take opened ended 1/2" lugs and studs

I'm running 3" studs with mine. The center is very thick. If you look reall close you can just see the end of the stud inside the lug nut. These are 5.5 backspace, but I have a 3/8 spacer behind them. They fit with no spacer, but were really close to the spring.I ran then with 1/4 spacers and they didn't rub anything but that was with 20 lbs. of air so I bought 3/8 spacers to be sure they wouldn't rub. Here are pics of the clearance.Tires are 12.8 sidewall on these wheels

did you have to use the Greg weld opened end lung nuts? Summit is saying you have to use them.

I bought them, but they are no different then the lugs I had for my old Weld Prostars. They are the long style lug.For 4 3/4 bolt pattern you use the centered washers.....for 4 1/2 pattern you use the offset washer.I think this is why they tell you to use the Greg Weld lugs.I use 7/16 studs, until they break! Here are my 2 spares since they come in 4 packs.
