I am currently restoring a 79 Z I purchased new. This Car has been garaged for the last 20 Years. When I brought it back to life EVERYTHING Electrical Worked. I pulled the Instrument Cluster to replace the Speedometer Cable. Once I reinstalled it I noticed I had no Turn Signal Indicators or High/Low Beam Indicator. I pulled the cluster back out checked all connections, Checked all Lamps everything looks good. I cleaned the connector and the Membrane reassembled and still the same. The Signals and High/Low work just no indication. I have the wiring Diagram but thought someone could save me some Time. Thanks in advance.

Check the plastic circuit board where the harness plugs into the cluster. More than likely one of the copper "fingers" came loose and is crossed over.

I did that. That was my thought I checked it and it looks to be in place. I noticed some of the Contacts are no longer glued to the plastic so i made sure to insert the connector carefully but I bet that is the problem. Anyone know where to get a replacement Circuit Membrane?

Glue them down as said and if you took the bulbs out just check to make sure all light up ok before putting it back in. I did it with a 9v battery so once installed I knew the bulbs should light up with power.

I'm having the same problem with my '79 RS. My contacts are doing the same thing. I'll have to try this myself.
Thanks

I would to be on the safe side . Check your whole harness ,conectors and everything. No rust,no corroson ,no wonderul little friends (like mice) making a home in your car. And keep extra fuses, light bulbs, etc just in case.
