Engine stamp at starters place?

I got a number stamped on the bottom of my engineblock where the starter is attached.
It says T099 , what does this mean?

Is it a CE block? Are there any other stamps etc. on it? I've heard that some CE short blocks have an assembly date code on them in that location. - Dale

I dont know if its a CE block...because the upper front pad doesnt say anyting sense.

It looks lite this:

The cast date on the engine block is H 23 9, can it match T089 ? If T089 is a assemblydate...is it only on CE blocks?

It is a 427 #512 block

Yes, but this front pad stamp does not look like a factory stamp??? Its not a CE stamp..

That is the build date of the motor. 9th mo 9th day. Same format that would be on the top pad for a production engine.
Typically CE blocks were stamped on this machined pad near the starter.

According to the above info the 89 would be 8th month, 9th day ...

That means my block is as you say 8th month (aug) 9th day......= 9 aug....but my castingdate says H 23 9 ......23rd aug.....doesnt make sense...
Could it be 9th month and 8th day.....

I'm no expert, but I would think that T089 would be: T= Tonawanda, 08=August,9=1969. Block would have been cast on the 23rd., & short block assembled before the end of the month. - Dale
