So I got my new bushings (thanks TommyRS70) for my rear sway bar and figure if I'm taking it off I might as well clean it up and refinish. A quick search confirmed the front bar is natural but I couldn't find anything on the rear. Mine appears to have black paint but it is very thin at the center and chipped on the ends like it may just be overspray. The car is a Van Nuys build if that makes a difference.

I didn't remove the whole bar to install the stab bar vertical bar bushings. I removed both old bush/clamps from the vertical bar off the stab bar then added 3 C-clamps on the drivers side shock mount and removed the mounting bolts, lowered the stab bar down a bit then spayed silicone on the stab bar and slid the 2 bushings on the bar then buttoned everything up.
