Trying to decide if I should just get a new carb or try & fix what I have. Carb is poring more gas than it should on rear jets after rebuilding & I'm thinking it's time to cut my loses & buy new.Carb came with car when I bought it.It's a Holley 600 & usually I don't have problems with these carbs. What you guys think I should do.Car has a mild cam with basically stock bottom end that is a fresh rebuild.Don't want this carb washing down my cylinder walls & causing more problems.

Sounds like the needle/seat is stuck and not closing. Clean it with carb cleaner and compressed air, then
lube the O ring with a dab of oil so it doesn't tear when you re-install. If it doesn't help then it's shot
and it's time to buy a new Viton 110 N&S.

Oh you have one of those POS carbs that Holley calls a carb and to save $ they give you non adjustable floats from the outside and try and blame the change reason on the user and say people don't know how to adjust a Holley. Wow what a bad move by Holley. I'd sell it and get yourself a 3310 750 cfm and rebuilt it. If you find a 3310-1 with a rear metering block then grab it.

3310-2 without a rear metering block. This is my spare carb and it's the best carb I've ever owned. I sold my 650 many years ago but
bought both the 3310 750 and 650 which I think was a list 1850 new.

Yeah,I don't like the idea of not being able to adjust float level from the outside.I use to run a 750 like you have on a Dodge Demon 340 & that thing would scream.Never had a issue with it.Thanks for the help !

Yeah, the Holly carbs without the rear metering block suck. I have upgraded SO many of them. Probably have three or four 0-1850 in pieces. And a bunch of gaskets, metering block kits, and accell cams and springs and power valves. Power valve blowout preventers are a must...

I made a 0-1850 work on the 262.5 (4.3 V8) original engine on my Monza with a Holley Z-series manifold after I rebuilt it the first time. 350/327 Cam. Headers...

Man that was a PITA to dial in...
