Id tag help please

this car was sold to my dad as a 70 rs/ss. Has a 12 bolt rear with the small spoiler. Motor is not original. I am post id tag pics as well as pics of the car. Any help would be appreciated. I am selling the car and i dont want to sell it to anyone advertising something that it is not.

The trim tag won't identify a SS350 in 1970, so it isn't much help.

The 12 bolt rear suggests that it is indeed an SS. Check the code on it for date. It should be a bit earlier than the 04B on the trim tag. Also, it should be coded COS or COT if an automatic car or COU or COV if a 4 speed car.

It has an RS front end so it is probably safe to assume it was originally an RS equipped car.
