First off, I would like to extend my THANKS to Darren Costello and each and every owner who participated in our L78 Gathering at MCACN last month. What an awesome sight to see these cars all lined up! The variety was incredible, with everything from "in progress" to unrestored original to full-on resto's, something for everyone indeed.

Seeing just one '70 L78 is a treat, but to see what we had on display was beyond belief.

My sincere Thanks go out to Darren for taking the lead and coordinating this display. I am not sure if people realize how much actually goes into organizing a gathering like this. It takes countless call, e-mails, visits and networking to make it happen, and we could never have done it without Darrens passion and contacts.

The dates are set for our 2012 event, which will take place November 17-18, 2012. Planning is well under way and as always, we welcome your feedback, comments and suggestions. bashton426@gmail.com

Have a Safe and Happy Holiday season!

The show was better organized this year than last. I had virtually no wait to get in and everything was great.

Thanks for a great venue.

Now how about a MCACN down south? :)

Yeah Darren & I had almost no wait either to get in...luckily, because I was down to a 1/8th tank of gas!!

I was glad to see that Shell Station after the show!

Down south at that time of year sounds good to me....Gulf Coast!!

I'd be willing to help. Anywhere from San Antonio, TX to Panama City, FL.

New Orleans has a huge convention center, and enough hotel rooms and ummmm, "Other" attractions to even keep someone like Stacy happy. :)

Thanks for the compliment Bob. Its is certainly the members that came from all corners to display their cars that make it a show. :bowtie:

Bob, Congrat's on another fine show! I thought the show went very well.... especially for getting In. I basically went from point A, to point B and into the Auditorium with no waiting what so ever! :)
The only thing I was confused about was parking my truck & trailer after checking into the Double Tree Hotel late Thursday night. The Hotel had NO idea where I could park my truck & trailer and neither did I, my move-in time wasn't till Friday morning. I ended up parking in Gibson's Steakhouse Valet parking right across the street.

I hope to be back next year.... except with front fenders and a hood this time. :)

Bourbon Street is where I'd probably spend every waking moment.....again.
Just not past those street pillars where it goes fruitalicious

Cool meeting you Rich
