New Event at a New Track....

This coming Sunday CFRC (Central Florida Road Complex) will hold it's first ever Summit Super Series event...CFRC is a new 1/8 mile track in Orlando...surface is smooth as glass and hooks great...

Gates open at 9AM, time shots at 10AM and elims at about 1PM...plenty of time to get home for the big game...you can race for points and purse or just the purse...

Box (electronics) is a $40 entry/700 to win...No Box (trans brake and 2-3 steps allowed) is also a $40 entry/700 to win...Street (8.50 and slower) is a $30 entry/300 to win...they have a bike class as well...

Come on out and have some fun...weather looks decent, sunny and 65 for a high...

Wassup!!!!...I been fighting with my car again...we made some changes and lost 2/10's...sheesh...I have it back now and then some....ran 7.69 last weekend so I am looking forward to this event...actually I will be racing 5 of the next 6 weeks with the Gatornationals my only weekend off...

Yes, I am signed up for Pinks...I will be there fro early parking on Thursday of the event...my quap is too slow but I will have a lot of fun no matter what...are you in it?...stop and see me regardless...I will have a cool beverage for ya...

The Feb 21st event will be a bracket race for domestic cars only...particulars have not been posted yet...I will definitely be there for this event...stop and say hi...this is my car...

I used to think this way as well...then I started racing for big money purses...in the south, all the big money is at the 1/8 mile distance...took me 6 years to learn how to really race 1/8 mile at the highest level...heck, even the Summit and Summit Super Series' have gone totally 1/8 mile here in Orlando...

Contrary to my old school thinking, 1/4 mile racing is boring to me at this point...never thought I would hear myself say that...yikes!...
