Ok thx to those who answered by previous post re headliner molding and after scrounging thru the garage did locate the side pieces and the back piece. However still need the front piece. The interior guy at the shop says the front piece looks like the "side" pieces. Can anyone verify that? This is for a 70 1/2 Camaro. Thx for your help again!

The side pieces are stamped from steel and mirror images of each other....both the front and rear pieces are a flexible rubber/plastic channel. The front piece should look very similar to the rear piece, but I am not sure if they are the same P/N or if they are interchangeable....but the front is definitely not stamped or formed from steel. Also, I am pretty sure the front molding did not change through the years of 70-81, so finding a replacement for your missing molding should be quite easy.

Here is a pic of a metal piece I found but not sure if this is front
or rear headliner molding or what it is. Can anyone tell? Its a bit over 3' in length and curved somewhat on the ends. Sorry i couldnt fit the whole thing in one pic.

That woud be the bracket for the back. The front and rear headliner moulding would then attach to it by pushing it in.Here's a pic of the flexable moulding.

Awesome! so now I gotta wonder if the other piece I have is for the front, (which I took to the shop today) so I can't compare the 2.

The shop guy said he would get the plastic molding.

Thx!

I Know that James at Moementum Camaro has the flexable molding because I bought some about 6 months ago. He's hard to get in touch with but know this Camaro's and is a great person to talk with. He can be alittle slow but will get you the right part. Toll Free Order line: 1-866-CAMARO1 (866-226-2761)
