I'm looking for suggestions for a repro door shell for my 80'. My original Driver door is salavageable with a patch but will probably take me with my limited experience 20-40 hours plus materials to fix. And I will still have a bunch of dings and other things that will probably be another 10 hours to deal with. To keep things moving, I'd like to buy a repro door shell and not spend time fixing a used door... but I have no idea what to avoid or where to get it from. This is far from a show car, it will be a weekend driver that will probably not be looked at too close by anyone but me. So a reasonable fit is fine at this point, just want to get it all painted before summer ends. Thanks.

I bought mine from D&R Camaro in Warrenvile, Illinois. They weren't cheap though, $1200 for the pair.
They are actually one of the better repop parts I have bought for my project.

The skin is 100.00. They were pretty good on the shape, you will need to drill holes for the chrome window trim if you have it. You buy the studs separately .

That's about the best price I could find, $614 shipped from CARid. I was more concerned about the fit and finish actually,I assume these are all made by one Manufacturer regardless of brand. I looked at reskinning it, but a good piece of the inner metal is gone and I would need that too. So after figuring time and money, I will be ahead on alot of time at least, and money can be replenished. I eliminated the belt moldings and bought NOS weatherstrip with the chrome bead instead, so no problem there. I know there will be dings etc but I will be happy if it fits well and not to hard to adjust. How were they to fit? Hoping to just block and prime without having to weld edges or anything extreme for a decent fit. Thanks for the comments guys.
