Hey guys thanks for the add. I just got a nice 74 Z28 I plan to LS swap and Turbo. I have owned a lot of different vehicles, turbo and muscle but have never done a motor swap or added a turbo. I have a Precision 5757 I'll be using, I was planning on using a 5.3 for the motor. My question is what intercooler kit is available and do any of you other Turbo guys have any pics and details on what you did to make it work and be reliable? Thanks in advance

The 5757 is listed as a 540HP capable turbo. You can easily reach that power goal with a cammed N/A 6.0 LS motor. Or are you doing 2 of them?

If your goal is a super fun, plenty powerful, not so crazy it will never get traction on the street, 20+MPG, economical build street engine, the 5.3 with that turbo fits the bill perfectly.
(The not so crazy power plan that lasts a long time)

I have seen guys use intercoolers from ebay. Once they find one with measurements they know will fit in front of the core support, they weld some tabs on it for mounting and use the big holes on either side of the core support to get the big tubing in and out.
