Im going to be putting a 255/50/17 tire on my back rims and a 245/50/16 tire on my front rims.

My question is does it matter what brand of tire or are they all the same? Anyone run Kumho tires? I can get them for $94-105 a piece and was just wondering if there worth it.

Thanks

Go to http://www.tirerack.com

They have specs and customer reviews on almost every brand of tire.

To answer your question, I think there is a little bit of difference in tire sizes among different brands. It shouldn't be very much though, probably less then 1/8".

I'm running their top of the line Kumho Ecsta MX's 255/45/17's. These suckers rock and can hang with tires that cost $50 or more each than BF's, Goodyears, etc...To my knowledge, they do not come in the 50 profile at 255cm wide, I might have made the same choice myself if they did.
