I did not mark the location of the flex wheel on the torque convertor when i removed them. I was told this will cause a serious problem. How can I fix this?

OMG your surely screwed now, better get scatter shield an wrap it around the bell housing , that way it won't saw off your legs when it comes undone.Well think of it this way,if it was a new flex plate it wouldn't have a line up mark on it. Sorry for being a smart ass, I've been drinking, at least I spell more better. It makes a differance on a big ass heavy fly wheel ,not so much on a lighter flex plate.

The torque converter isn't balanced to the flex plate. Usually if the transmission is coming out, it's because a) the flex plate broke, b) it needs to be rebuilt, which should be getting a fresh converter anyway, or c) a rear main seal leaking.

Marking the orientation isn't critical on an auto trans set up.

No need to mark it on an internally balanced sbc. Crank and converter really don't care.
