whats it worth?

OK all need your input here -I came across a 1980 Camaro Z28- black with red interior, 4 speed -350 V8 with custom interior and t-tops. It has 12,000 orig miles and is in the hands of the original owner -with all the paperwork.

This car looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor and is all orig except for filters/hoses, battery. Tires and exhaust are orig. What do you think its worth?

On a good day, maybe 10 grand.....but probably just 8 or 9. Anything over that, would probably be a stretch.

I saw one like that for sale about 10 years ago. The guy had it listed for around $10,000. I don't know if he ever sold it or what price he got.

I think it is worth more than that but,the guy that has it is one of those western PA guys -I figure if I offer him a couple of grand and a few junk cars for his front yard he may go for it.

It sounds like a nice car, for $10,000 or even $14,000 I don't see how you could go wrong. You could buy it and drive it ever day for 3 years, beat the crap out of it and it would still be cheaper then buying a new car and doing the same. If you like it whats a few grand ?

I did see one '81 with under 10,000 miles go for over $20,000, and a few other late 2nd gens go for 15 +. Depends on the car and the buyer I guess. This one sounds nice.
