Have a 1980 camaro just replaced fuse box was pretty hacked up. Got one out of a 1981 camaro switched them out most every thing hooked up. There is a harness that plugs into the fuse box in gose up and under to the relay mounted on dash right by the radio kinda by your knee. Think it's a relay. My harness is all spliced up same with this harness hints why I wanted to replace it my big purple and yellow wires were splice together not the only car i have seen this done to. Then the harness that plugs into the relay has been cut up. Have know clue what it is for. Was thinking that's why my power windows ain't working look like they were hard wire or something second thing no break light switch is good tested power going to switch/bulbs are good kinda clueless on at they won't work all other light work. Any help would be much Appreciate

Can't help you with first issue. As far as the brake lights the bulbs should have 2 filaments, one for brakes one, for directional/parking.

Get wiring diagrams, they are loads of help. I used the diagrams out of a haynes service manual, but they are widely available elsewhere. Saves alot of time and effort.
