It's just a matter of time before the SEC lowers the boom on Musk.

That and a lawsuit over his "AutoPilot" that his own company tells people they need to keep their hands on the wheel and stay alert (as Musk drives Leslie Stahl around with his hands around his midsection)...

For those that don't know it - Norway has the highest share of battery-electric vehicle (BEV) sales in the world, a number which hit 45% in the month of September. Add plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) and the total plug-in number reaches 60%.

"Why is Norway yielding such high share of electric car sales - far higher than any other country? Here's how it works: Regular cars face an insanely steep excise tax in Norway. It basically doubles the car price compared to the U.S. and much of the rest of Europe.

However, if you buy an electric car, you don’t have to pay that tax - or for that many other taxes and fees that hit regular cars. That means a plug-in car costs at least approximately half that of a regular car - and depending on the value on ongoing incentives and benefits, even less."

So far, in the 4th quarter, Tesla sales are down 40% from last year.

This is Tesla - last year:

Why are Tesla sales dropping? Competition. Just one of them is the new Jaguar I-Pace. There are many others.

Tesla will see the same thing happen here soon. As people have more and better options from companies that will actually build the cars they promise...

I recently saw Musk is now involved in some express tunnel scheme.

I swear he has attention deficit syndrome. Bouncing from one thing to another like a hyperactive 3 year old.

If I was an investor I would find that very scary.

The "tunnel scheme" is The Boring Company. It's been in active operations for 2+ years. They just hit a milestone which is why you see them in the news

I've read where using Musk's new tunnel is like driving on a gravel road.

Have you seen the same stories?

I’ve heard that it is about a mile or so long and a proof of concept type thing. I haven’t heard anything about the drive quality. Maybe I’m confused but wasn’t this supposed to be something like the hyperloop concept?
Seems kind of strange to be digging tunnels in an earthquake prone area like California. I guess there are not many alternatives.
