I need someone who has rebuilt an Eaton Type 3 posi to help me at the auto hobby shop. To be clear, that would be someone who knows exactly what they are doing. We will remove it, rebuild it and reinstall it with a backlash check.

In exchange, I'll be happy to put you up in our guest room and even feed you (up to two people) while you are here. It needs to be around a Saturday, as that is when I can get a full day on the base. I can pick you up from the airport. You could add a day or two and visit the amusement parks in Orlando. It's perfect weather right now.

Is anyone interested? PM me!

And happy new year to everybody!

Wish I knew how or I would come down. Would be nice to see you again. BTW, anyone qualified: He is a great guy and has a very nice home.

One of my friends does rear ends among many other skills including engine rebuilding, but he owns his own plumbing business and dought he can skip town. What about big gear head? He’d be the best. That’s one skill I never learned.

Big gear head has been very helpful but he cannot make time to visit. I know I can do this, but everything I read says it is best to have someone who has done it help you.

Jim, what you could do is ask BGH to FaceTime you while you do the work. If BGH isn’t available then I’m sure someone on here would do it. If I knew how to do it and couldn’t fly down, I’d FaceTime you. Needing your Muncie rebuilt is another story.

Good idea...that may be the way to go.

I rebuilt the Muncie in 2015.

Maybe pull the carrier and send it to him? Wouldn't be that heavy and for reinstall you'd only need to check lash as the actual setup should be as it was.
