Hello fellow NastyZ28ers, I have a nice set of complete 1970 bucket seats and am currently rebuilding the tracks. I need to replace the plastic inserts as well as at least 2 of the roller retainers with ball bearings. I have the rollers, but the clips and ball bearings are missing.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Posted in the right place but doubt you will see much traffic. Someone may have info for you on this but it will certainly only be a handfull of people or places to get parts. Sadly re-pops are about $200 EACH side and not even sure if those are early or late model.

Thanks! I was able to find info on the plastic inserts, which it looks like I will need to make. I also need 2 of the 4 metal retainers and ball bearings for the rollers. I have the rollers, but am missing 2 of the retainer/ball bearing clips.

I have heard that a roller retainer clip out of a 93’ Camaro works. Anybody able to confirm?

Just for future reference I just got done disassembling my 1970 seat tracks and both the drivers and passenger side track on the handle side were each missing the clips and ball bearings. I'm wondering if they were ever there in the first place since there seems to be multiple reports of them being missing.
