Master cylinder non power 1970

I’m looking to change out my non power master on 1970 front disk/ read drum factory style.

Any recommendations on what brand ?

Help on tricks to install and replace the dust boot also would be appreciated

Ya I ordered 2 boots - one from Amazon was super cheap but it was thin and smaller so I went with Camaro central one for a replacement. Same thickness of rubber and the extra lip around it .

Sorry it’s been a long winded ordeal , I can’t seam to find a cast iron o master so I went with the aluminum one and I’ll send my original BE out for rebuild

I’m gonna have my og one rebuilt or do it myself. For now I’m using an aluminum one but works great for it from parts authority believe it or not .. I tried all
The major brake places and they all
Had different pictures compared to what came in .

I was able to clean up and use my old parts. I had to make the firewall gasket. Master cylinder was from
Rockauto. New prop. valve for a '71. Still haven't bleed them yet.

I have two manual brake boosters available….one is brand new and the other used….if interested send me a message

Very nice … ya it’s odd that every thing you read says the Non power came with a deep brake rod but you have the same as mine short ( shallow) ..
