Donny - from what our research has shown, 1970 Norwood cars with the 1-pc spoiler received the bumpers, but 1970 LA cars did not. No clue why.
I disagree. Your research is incorrect. A pole will tell you. I know many Norwood Z’s including mine that never had that silly rubber bumper. Mines a Canadian shipped car so maybe cars shipped to the USA got them after girls were caught sitting on the rear spoilers.

Gee Mark, the research was based on many unrestored cars. Unfortunately, your car has been restored, so it does not qualify as a reliable data point. I've learned to "never say never", but one or a few outliers does not indicate a trend.

I purchased my car from the original owner in 1981. The only restoration on it was body/paint and there was never a bump stop on the car or a screw hole for one.

I believe it was 1972 when the original owner drove the car to FL. 2nd pic is from 2 yrs ago.

Mine had them on it when I bought it. First time I opened the trunk I noticed a round mark from the snubbers on top of the quarters. I left them off when I repainted it.

Exactly Phil...and thank you. I believe a lot of people did that for the same reasons which is why restored cars are not data points unless there is photo evidence pre-restoration.
