After all the drinks you had last time we were up there, I don't think so ;)...

You would have gone for it since you don't live in this neck of the neighborhood ;)

So this is the look I was going for. I know everything is dirty but you get the idea. I wanted a stock looking Pontiac rally rim but in 17" size. This is the PMD center cap that is suppose to be on the rim. I will make a washer insert to keep the cap centered and then add the black centered lugnuts.

Here is the start of my C5/C6 front brakes.
I had to locate some drum hubs to get things started. Thanks to flowjoe and Billscamino.

Old drum hubs. The face of the hub needs to be machined down and have a 45 degree bevel to accept the C6 brake rotor.

I knocked out the old races, ran a chase down all the threads, and put them in the sandblaster for a quick cleaning.

One light coat of etching primer and three light coats of ceramic brake paint.

New races,bearings, and seals.

I pulled all of the stock disc brake brackets and dust shields off and installed the front hubs.

Hey! those look familiar;). And all the same height as the Chevelle one.

I might have an exploded view of a '67 (possibly '68) 'Bird front end. They really aren't much like the '69s and n-o-t-h-i-n-g at all like a Camaro. I'll see what I can find and email ya.

Thanks for the great deal on the three hubs. With the one that Billscamino sent me I have an extra set in case I have problems down the road.
