LOL... I vote for no Donk wheels either

now hurry up and get the bathroom grouted so you can get back to the car:p :p

The Donk wheels are only for moving the boat around. Then they come off.:)

Not to much lately. The boat came home and I started working on it for about a week. Then my one and only full bathroom BROKE!! The tub cracked. I have about 2-3 weeks into a nearly complete tear out. Installed a Jacuzzi tub (sp) wired it all in and am close to being finished with the tile work. Thanks Rick (BTTB) for all of the help.

Your welcome Rob. Had fun :)

Hope you got the grout in and you better start working on that boat of yours. ;)

Memorial weekend is coming up and I know you and family would like to be on the lake. Especially you having a few cocktails ;) and relaxing for a bit

The bottom portion is grouted. The top natural stone has one coat of sealer and needs a second coat before I can grout it. I hope to have most of it done next week. And, the wife signed us up for working on Memorial day.

I still have not had much time to work on the car. But I did get a few brake lines made. These are good for 3000 psi.

I also had a chance to purchase a set of PMD caps. I mounted one onto the rim using a adapter plate that a friend made for me.

Here is a picture of the backside of the PMD cap. I have to remove the stud and install a longer one so it will be long enough to go through the adapter plate.

Here is the adapter plate.

The adapter plate has two surface sizes each is a tight fit into the hub of the rim. This keeps the center cap very well centered.

The last item in the drivetrain to update would be the rear end. The car came with a early 70's Firebird rear end bolted in with just a few bolts. At first I thought it was the original 8.2 that should have been stock to the car. I thought I got lucky because it had a 8.5 in it but the perch mounts were in the wrong spots. That explained why it only had a few bolts holding it into place. So, I started looking for a different rearend. I had a friend who was building a 41 Chevrolet coupe and he wanted to install a Ford 9" into the car. I looked up the numbers on the rearend that was in the car and it was a 12 bolt out of a 1968 Camaro. Perfect fit minus the missing perches and 3:08 one wheel wonder gears. So, I bought a couple of new parts.
Yukon Posi unit. It has to be good it has a Camaro on the box.:)

The bathroom has a full remodel and the boat is in the water. Time to start on the car again. No pics yet but I trimmed the inner front left wheel well to fit my car. The Camaro and Firebird wheel wells are very similar but they need to be trimmed to fit a Firebird. I also started working on all of my brake line brackets. I needed some new bolts to hold in my headlight assemblies so I grabbed some Titanium bolts from work. LOL I'm sure that has to be close to a first.
