1977 Camaro Column Shift Turbo Hydramatic Production?

Thanks all for great feedback. I purchased car from original owners son. His middle aged mother purchased in Chicago 1977. Could explain column shift though. Good catch on brochure picture! I was not aware of that. Drivetrain is original with 305 and turbo. I did acquire copy of build sheet from GM Heritage. Other interesting options include, positraction rear, tilt, cruise, power door locks and heavy duty battery. I guess I'll never know if she ordered car or bought off lot.

1969 was the last year of a manual trans with column shifter in a Camaro. I had a friend in high school with a 69 250 6 cylinder and 3 on the tree.

I learned to drive in a 65 Ford Custom with three on the tree.

Taught girlfriends how to shift when I hit the clutch. (My right arm was on the back of the bench seat.) ;)
