ive got some questions regarding using vortec heads (12558060 from summit)
and a weiand 8121 street warrior intake (8121) im not sure what intake would work best but im sure this one will clear my stock hood on my 78, i was originally planning for a RPM Air Gap from edelbrock but from what i read it wont clear the hood with the air filter and carb.
also going to be purchasing COMP Cams Magnum Steel Roller Tip Rocker Arms 1417-16
the converter i dont know, the guy that had this car prior to me had a built 350 in it and ran 1/4 at the strip (it was his drag car and that was it, the old engine had burnt up and now has a stock block in it, 650 holley double pumper, and edelbrock headers)
im not against swapping out the converter if i have to but im guessing he ran a 2500 converter.
my main question is, what camshaft would you recommend on running, this is going to be mostly a street car but i will take it to the strip occasionally to run it without getting a nice ticket, its got a th350 tranny and so it climbs RPM pretty quickly (not quite sure what gears are in the rear).

this is my first time really doing a top end and so im pretty green when it comes to this. i think i covered most info you all would need, if not i will.
thanks in advance
