I know i have run into buying winshilds that the books at glass co. would ask if for early or late 70. that was because the 69 was still being sold, maybe

I think too your glass guy is wrong.

Look at the upper corners:

ROUND upper corners in '71-'81 Camaros (70 1/2 - 81)

Steve, I think you and your installation guy are going to discover quickly that unless your glass looks exactly like the DW785 sown here:

It's NOT going to fit.

The DW688 that you indicated above is this one:

They cannot, they are not the same...the 1970 Camaro glass is different than the first gen glass. I believe that website is wrong.

Looks like the idiot that had the car before me chopper the the top. Why? Now I have to have the glass cut to fit. I does answer a lot of other issues I had with the door seals. Can someone measure the drivers side window opening? I would like the know much they dropped it. I measured mine and its 14in from the outer trim to the roof at the inner door lock.
