I don't know if this will help you, But a truck I had a Trailer Hitch put on years ago, they "Tacked" a length of welding rod to a nut, and slipped it in place from a hole in the frame, downstream. Then they slipped a wrench in to hold it and called it good. You could get to the nut, but no way to hold on to it while you tried to start the bolt in it. Tiny fingers maybe...lol...

@thesalboy Was dying to know about the mustang so I will talk about it.
Well before I picked it up the mechanic had called me and said the whine might still exist because I wasn't changing the ring and pinion. Which was something I didn't think about. Oh well.
Picked it up today and it used to have a whine sound on deceleration and that is gone. It's always had a sound I would describe as like turning a brake drum on a lathe with a constant metal rub sound. That's still there but quieter by the time I got home.
I was kinda hoping that sound would go away with new brake pads, rotors and new axle end bearings.
It's not a big deal to me as long as nothing breaks my shaker 500 sound system easily drowns out all noises. Honestly the car needs sound deadening anyways which is a future project.
I can attest that the detroit locker works pretty good 🤩

Back to the bride, this is all I got done today. P.S. I didn't know they offered a discount to nastyz members when I ordered it.
