79 Camaro Z28 front grill emblem question

So I've seen several photos of this year body style with either the badge look emblem, or the Z28 emblem lower passenger side. First, from what I can see the 79 Camaro Z28 had the center badge correct? I'm not sure how the badge/emblem is mounted or held on by. I've seen a emblem holder on ebay just wasn't sure.

A 79 Camaro (Z28, Berlinetta, RS or Sport Coupe) all used the same grill emblem.

A metal bracket and two nuts holds the center grill emblem in place.

A similar bracket was used for the grill emblem in 80-81.
However... The grill is different and the brackets are not interchangeable.
You need the bracket for a 78-79 grill.
