The bearing Numbers would be a big help. Thanks.

It took me a while to dig this one out of my brain. Inner bearing is the same (A6). Outer bearing is an A34.

Early outer:
BCA/NATIONAL Part # A2 More Info {Cone Length=0.475" Bore=0.75" Outer Diameter=1.781" Width=0.61 Stand Out=0.135" Cup Length=0.475" Cone Radius=1.046"}

Late outer:
BCA/NATIONAL Part # A3 {Cone Length=0.55" Bore=0.8437" Outer Diameter=1.9687" Width=0.69 Stand Out=0.14" Cup Length=0.55" Cone Radius=1.046"}

Hybrid outer:
BCA/NATIONAL Part # A34 More Info {Cone Length=0.475" Bore=0.8437" Outer Diameter=1.781" Width=0.61 Stand Out=0.135" Cup Length=0.475" Cone Radius=1.05"}

Great. Thank you. That will save me from having to buy new rotors. I got one side apart today. The other side should go smother. The shock was the hardest part. Trying to hold the broken clips on the lower mount and the shaft from spinning on the top.

Making progress... I've got one side done and the other apart. I'll finish it tomorrow. All I ended up needing to make the splndles fit were the A34 bearings. The old caliper bolts worked. I just needed to clean up the threads in the new spindles. I did have to trim the backing plates for clearance for the lower A-arm.

Hello everyone

I joined NastyZ28 this week because I am finally starting to restore my 1971 and have a bunch of questions. I think the question I have is related to kmontee’s post. The question is:

Will the spindle/rotor/caliper assembly from a 1989 Camaro fit in my 1971?

I have to disagree with Olav. I beleive it will work. I ran into trouble putting a 71 rotor on a 79 + spindle. and there was a bearing issue. I put the 79+ spindle in my 71 and the balljoints and tierods bolted up no problem.
