A buzzing noise has just started out of nowhere & I can't figure out what's causing it. I don't have a stereo installed (yet) so that's not it. There are 2 speakers in the back but they're not connected to anything. The pitch doesn't go up & down with the throttle. Just a constant irritating whining sound. Any ideas?

Try to pinpoint the basic area of the car that the noise seems to be coming from and is it with the engine running and car in park or only while driving down the road. That car has a warning buzzer system, under the dash near the fusebox, that can come for different reasons and can malfunction.

A leaf in the duct work?
Try changing the fan speed to see if it changes.

Knowing what part of the car it's coming from is the first step.

If its inside the car, a shop vac hose is a great way to isolate sounds. Bring a friend and go for a ride. Wave the hose around with one end up to your ear. I've located loose buzzing sounds on quite a few cars and trucks and have to do it again on my T/A.
