there is no fighting here, I know some see it as such because it is automatic reaction to think this way, but everyone just gets testy because I highlight how good the PTFB design is to begin with ;-)
But I understand the need to advertise that the latest greatest computer software was used to design such parts in order to imply that the new part is better than the old part already on the market. but the reality is that FEA is useless unless you can actually simulate the load forces applied to the part being designed, and unless the task of fully test the loads on the associated parts is taken into account and used by the software it is just marketing bloviation .

As for the PTFB designs, aside from the problems PTFB had with the supplier the product just did not fit nor perform as needed.
Is connecting two frame rails together a PTFB design? Of course not...don't be silly, but let's be realistic I am honored that an engineers with such vast resources available to him could not come up with a better design than PTFB has...I mean no one has copied the hotchkis ones...!!

Bottom line is PRO-TOURING F-BODY still makes the best most versatile and COST EFFECTIVE frame connector kit on the market .

But I did! Our 2G connector shares no dimensional similarities to your connector, improves rigidity by an additional mounting point, and is lighter. We also addressed the deformation of the tubing where it is bent. Why guess at what is most effective. I had the resources available, so I utilized them. Our testing does NOT reflect the performance or construction of your product in any way.
