I suggest you price having your car shipped like from a carrier off Ebaymotors. You will pay less than you will pay in fuel hauling yourself. You can run into certain troubles pulling a car on the road. This is a job considerer a Pro trust me the Gov will get ya if the road don't. Good luck and thanks for your service.

well i dont know how its gonna be cheaper to pay someone to haul my car. which may get screwed up on the way, when im already going that way anyways it will cost me around 600 in fuel in my truck one way, and yes i agree hauling a car is not for everyone ive towed many of cars in my day one from oregon to ga threw donner pass in a snowstorm so im not worried about towing a car, as long as you follow the laws and not pull it to fast stay in the slow lane and have proper registration its no problem at all

I'm confused.....how do the hubs affect the tire size? Do you mean rims? 14" rims on 3500 lb mobile home axles is common. You can measure to make sure you have the correct lug spacing.....it's usually 5 x 4.5". Do you have a local trailer store? They could answer your questions.

Trailer hubs aren't that expensive, especially if you buy the non-brake 5x4.5 hubs. I've seen them in stock at tractor supply and other farm supply shops. Problem is, you need to buy wheels and tires also. Hubs are probably $40 ea. and wheels/tires are probably $120 ea. You're looking at least $640 to change over without brakes. That's a lot of money toward a used trailer. I'd probably consider selling yours and upgrading with that money, or rent a u-haul trailer
Reading the last post, mobile home rims are usually 14.5", I have a set that I can't use for anything. Some ass stole my axles.

Hey man if you know what your doin have at it and tow away. Sounds like I spoke to soon and your a seasoned tower. I know Michican guys are the bedrock or car guys so what do I know. I just thought I've priced shipping cars over the last few years and the guys that own rigs and do that every day beat my cost on fuel along and that's why I suggested that. I'm telling ya if the state or DMV gets a hold of you or if your truck/ tailer has a problem you might wish you paid Johnny Haul A Car instead. Plus what ever you get to sell your trailer you can put to Jhonny haul a car,

I had a guy tell me that the hubs off the 90's silverado will fit on the mobile home axles, but i have never tried it myself. IF they will just but 4 for the front and use the truck wheels

If you have trouble finding correct hubs, just buy new axles and sell the mbile home ones on craigslist. If you have a trailer manufacturer in the area, they will sell axles.
