I just installed this head unit in the 80 Z. I have to say that I am very pleased with it. I bought the C-A 630 last year for the 1967 Eldorado...but this new model is much better!! This is the latest model and it has the Blue tooth on board and just about every option you can think of. It also has on board sub control. it looks like an AM radio until you turn it on, then it goes digital display. I paired it with a 5 channel 1200 watt Kenwood amp and 4 JBL speakers. I was able to mount the amp on a wedge sub box (made for a truck) to the back of the rear seat. Made some custom alum brackets and mounted on isolators. It fits great and still allows me to carry the inflation a spare tire and still have some room left. I have about $800 in the setup and it sounds awesome !

I installed also USA-740 into my '72, but there is one problem with bluetooth phone volume. The volume is by default on level 24 (very loud) and I can't find the way to set it quieter. So when somebody calls in or I call to somebody, first there comes a loud bang from loudspeakers that scares the s**t out of anyone in my car who can't expect it. Can anyone give advice how to set bt phone sound level lower? Thanks!

Looking at buying this unit for my 70, looks like you've had it for a few years, still happy with it?

After getting my phone bluetooth issue fixed it has worked ok. Still not very happy with sound quality, I think it needs additional amp to get it good.
