yes i was just wondering kinda did a quick measurement and it seemed like 23 was closer. I am gonna make one when i get some time at work

Thanks for taking the time to write all the instructions and I hope you can do the 79-81 soon. I have a question. Where do you buy the aluminum Home Depot? or other places.Thanks again.

I probably won't be doing the 79-81 thats why I was asking if someone else was. For the metal, call a local sheet metal shop. Thats where I got mine from.

Hey Doc, First of all, thanks a bunch for hooking us up with this. I'm excited to finish this project.

Got a quick question for ya though. I printed out the template just like you said and got it taped together, but I noticed 1 thing and I want to make sure i didn't mess something up:
From the left lower carrot mark (bend point) to the part that goes around the steering column it measures 4.5" and from the right carrot mark to the opposite side of the steering column opening it measure about 5 1/8".

Is this the correct measurement? I thought that these measurements would be the same. I wonder If my printer messed up. Could you please verify this for me?
