I don't know what you call this.

On a 73 at the bottom of the rear window on the inside of the car(part of the package tray), there is a metal piece that runs from left to right, and the ends of the sail panels screw into it. The bottom of the window lays on this part.

Is this piece available repopped, or is this something I have to cut out of a car or have made?

Ryan i dont think that part is reproduced yet. You will need to cut that piece from another parts car.

Youre looking for the black trim metal that shows right? The part you see thru the window and the sail ends screw to.Thats it.The windows have the same shape at the bottom(70-81)That why the upper rear valance panel also fits those years.79 bucks aint bad either, lol.

Edit-74 BUCKS!!

Wow guess i was seriously wrong. Sorry Ryan and 74 bucks. Very reasonable price. A lot cheaper than a parts car and the time taking it off.

That's it.

Now I feel really dumb. I torched apart a 77 a month or so ago, and didn't even think about cutting that piece out because I was sure they were different.

Oh well
