Now that spring semester is finally over I can finally reassemble my engine, but I have a question about how to clean the block and cylinder heads. I got the block back from the machine shop last summer oiled and plastic wrapped because I told him that it was going to sit for a while, and I belive he told me to just hose it off thouroughly then dry it with an air compressor, does this sound adequate? Also I ported the heads, so what would be the best way to ensure I get all of the crap cleaned out of them? Thanks for any advice!
