Does anybody know of a engine stand that is safe to start it on? No tranny, just block. It's for a 350 SBC. Appreciate it.

I have seen videos of this type of engine cradle for starter stands. A guy I know used his engine cradle and a gas can and added gauges.
76.00 Bucks? That is a hell of a cheap price. Beats a couple wooden blocks and a gas can. LOL... This can't be real? I saw Tool boxes 99.00. Must be a scam.

Definitely a scam just like those $70 snap on tool chests.

You can try these. The large unit was running about $320 so a little less than summit. Looks like supplier raised price, but out of stock any how.

But like Hogdaddy said, get good with MIG. The cradle unit works but if you make a frame first, then add it. If you don't have welding capability, just need good quality drill, etc...

It's more involved than just holding engine, you need radiator, electric fan, switches, gauges, place for battery, fuel can, etc...

If you start with the cradle as a foundation, you can build from there, and be all in for less than $300 if sourced right.
