Something else on fillers. If it says lightweight it usually has more air in the mix. Thus resulting in more pinholes if you are not careful. There are fillers out there that are not lightweight and the full cans are very heavy.
The rage gold label says "Rage Gold Lightweight Premium Body Filler #ME-112" and the Z-grip label says "EVERCOAT Z-GRIP LIGHTWEIGHT BODY FILLER"
I never got pin holes with the rage gold so I should be ok with the Z-grip. I also read the the pins holes can come from mixing it too.
He didn't have the Z-grip on his truck, he will get it from the warehouse tomorrow so I have it for the weekend.

An Evercoat rep told me not to "fold" the filler over itself when you are mixing the hardener to avoid trapping air. He said you should scrape and lay it back down and apply pressure. I hope that I said this in a way that is understood.

Ya I think I know what ya mean lol
I usually mix in a circular motion, so we will see how it goes.

started using the Z-grip tonight. Seems to be pretty good. Took a couple mixes to get use to the hardener. Seems like ya need to put on less then for the rage gold. About the same amount as the rage gold and it gets hard to fast, so I went with less to have more time to work with it. Here is a pic of the first coat on one bus window. So far so good.

Glad it's working well for you. Just to throw something else into the mix for you. Evercoat makes a filler called Quantum One and you can get different temperature hardeners for it depending on the temp. that you are working in. I haven't used it yet I have only played with it and if you use the low temp hardener in warm weather you can't get it on the panel quick enough but it works well in cooler temps.

My garage is heated, 63 when not in here and 65/68 when I am in here.
