F-4 I want one

I was active Duty in the Marine Corps from 1981-84 and stationed aboard the 3rd MAW El Toro in Socal . There were quite a few squadrons that had F4's like VMFA531 grey ghosts VMFA 214 black sheep

The F4 Phantoms were my favorite military aircraft

When I was in the Marine Corps 1975-9 .82-5. MCAS (H )Tustin was my first duty station with MABS -16 MAG 16 3 Marine Air Wing . I had Truck driver school MCAS El Toro for 2 months there . I saw F-4 Phantoms and a variety aircraft there . And when I went overseas to Okinawa . I landed at Kadena AFB the home of the SR-71 Blackbird AKA Habu .Especially when they took off at night with the flame blue from the J-58,s burning JP-7 .

I have also seen the Blue angels fly F-4Js and the Thunderbirds fly F-4 Es at the local airshows

The F-4 IMHO, was the best airshow craft for both teams. Big, loud, and dirty.

8 of my 10 years in the USAF was devoted to F-4 engine work. She's still my baby.

The F-4 Phantom II is one of my favourite jet aircraft, I would love to see one fly for real!!

First of all, I'm an AF brat. I was born at Tripler at Hickam. (stationed?). First assignment was Homestead AFB, FL, then Udorn RTAFB, Thailand, Edwards AFB, Ca, and lastly Moody AFB, GA. Stopped for fuel in Yakota, Kadena, Philippines, Guam, Anchorage, and Frankfort, Germany. And a wonderful TDY to Cairo, Egypt. (NOT)
