So I finally got my car back!! It feels pretty strong, its still open headers (love the muzik it makes ;) ) Anyways, my fan (the one that was on my former sbc 305) seems to b really high. The blades are higher than the top of the radioator sits. Is there a hood that'll work? Why is it that it sits so high now with bbc in it?... Another question I have is about the front springs (suspension), my car doesnt seem to have any! Is that normal, I feel dumb asking but I have to know. Shouldnt I have sum springs on it? What do u guys think?

I think you should find a smaller diameter fan.
In the suspension section you'll find a ton of info on front springs, part number, brands, coil cutting, etc...
A BB is a couple hundred pounds heavier than a SB so its going to make the front end sit lower.

I will assume the springs are OEM which makes them almost 40 years old. There will undoubtedly be sag, probably a lot. As Tom said, the BB weighs more than the SB, so this will further stress the springs. Decide what type of suspension you want for the cars intended use and find a spring that fits the need.

As for the fan, it should fit just inside the shroud for proper cooling. If it doesn't fit for whatever the reason, find one that does. Once the weather warms up, you will find a properly functioning cooling system is definitely worth the trouble to get it right. good luck.

I dont have any springs, thats why Im asking. Is this normal? Just has edelbrock shooks.... What fan blade do u guys suggest (its not an electric)? Is their a particular reason why the fan sits so much higher with the bbc than it did with the sbc?

No springs?!?!
Did a shop do work and not tell you that there weren't any there? When you first said no springs, I thought you just meant they were so flat they might as well be gone. Getting springs into the car would certainly be a priority. Decide what type of driving and level of performance you want, then find some springs to complement that. Factory rate was about 325 pounds, which is kind of wimpy. You can go to a higher rate for more road feel but this would better be done with other suspension improvements. You will need to separate the spindle from the ball joints, so this would be a good time to replace the ball joints if they haven't been done previously.

the fan might have sat a little lower on a small block, I'm not sure how big block water pumps are mounted. The motor mounts, if changed, might have the engine sitting higher than it was before as well. Find a smaller diameter fan that fits into the shroud, or maybe it is time to go to an electric fan. In any case, good luck.
